Rate: £26 per hour

Job Type: Full-time / Contract

A well-established and growing industrial services company is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join its skilled engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional looking for stable, long-term work at a competitive hourly rate of £26 per hour.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within industrial environments. The role requires strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of industrial electrical systems, containment, and cabling
  • Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on machinery and control systems
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical schematics
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Ensuring all work complies with current health and safety regulations
  • Testing and inspection of electrical installations

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Engineering
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven experience in an industrial environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work from technical drawings
  • ECS/CSCS card (preferred)
  • IPAF or PASMA (advantageous but not essential)
