I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor currently delivering major projects in Cambridge. They are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical packages on large-scale developments.
This opportunity would suit a Site Manager with experience on complex builds. A background working with Tier 1 contractors is highly desirable, however strong candidates from reputable Tier 2 contractors with relevant project experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of electrical works on site
- Managing labour, subcontractors, and materials
- Coordinating with the main contractor and other trades
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard
- Maintaining site documentation and quality control
Pay & Package
- Β£25.00 per hour basic rate
- 37.5 contracted basic hours per week
- Overtime paid at Β£37.50 per hour (time and a half) after 37.5 hours
- Typical working week of 44 hours
- Holiday pay based on 9 hours per day
- Company van and fuel card included
If only basic hours are worked, the equivalent annual salary is Β£61,425, with clear opportunity to earn more through overtime beyond the standard 44-hour week.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working as an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor on similar projects
- Tier 1 contractor experience preferred but not essential
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, and relevant electrical qualifications advantageous
