We are currently partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking building services company and recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary organisation delivering high-quality projects across the built environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and specification of electrical building services systems (LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, etc.)
- Competently using AutoCAD & Revit
- Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and reports
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (HNC)
- Proven experience in a similar role within building services
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
