We are supporting a client within the M&E and electrical services sector who is looking to appoint an M&E Quantity Surveyor at either Senior level, depending on experience. This role is suited to an electrically biased M&E QS with a strong understanding of electrical services and commercial management within live M&E environments.
The Role
You will be responsible for the commercial management of electrical and M&E packages, working closely with engineering and delivery teams on technically complex projects across the UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commercial management of M&E / electrical services packages
- Cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts
- Contract review and risk identification
- Assessment and mitigation of commercial and contractual risk
- Supporting project teams with commercial strategy and reporting
About You
- Electrically biased M&E Quantity Surveyor
- Strong technical understanding of:
- Small power & lighting
- Submains
- LV & HV installations
Travel & Location
Base location: Essex
European travel: Infrequent and planned, typically 1β2 nights for key meetings
Regions: France, Sweden and Germany
All travel and accommodation fully covered
Package
Salary Circa Β£130,000, dependent on experience
