About Us
Our client specialises in delivering high-quality residential developments across Cambridgeshire. With a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and craftsmanship, they are expanding their team and seeking a dedicated Site Manager to lead as number one on an upcoming housing project.
The Role
As the Senior Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. You will coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, and liaise closely with clients, surveyors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
- Maintain accurate site documentation and progress records.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Resolve any issues or delays efficiently and effectively.
- Lead regular site meetings and progress reviews.
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments; however, can also consider those from a commercial build background.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and H&S compliance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card), and First Aid certification required.
- Full UK driving licence.
