We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our client's social housing projects. The role involves assisting the Senior QS with cost management, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and documents for social housing projects
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditure, and report on cost variations
- Support contract administration
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to resolve cost-related issues
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and contribute to financial reporting
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Some experience in construction cost management, preferably within social housing
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with cost management software is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
