Your next role
We are looking for a confident and capable Control Room Team Leader to join our 24/7 control room. This is a key leadership role reporting to the Operations Manager, where you will be responsible for the smooth running of the control room and supporting a team of operators to deliver a high-quality service. While our control room operates around the clock, this particular role will be based on daytime shifts, offering a consistent schedule within core daytime hours.
What you will be doing
- Managing day-to-day control room activities
- Communicating goals and objectives to the team
- Supporting training and development plans in partnership with the Operations Manager
- Delegating tasks and creating a productive work environment
- Hosting 1-2-1s and team meetings to assess performance and provide feedback
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Monitoring CCTV, handling calls and alarms as part of daily operations
- Keeping teams informed of business updates and changes
- Maintaining company standards for alarm handling and response times
- Identifying operational risks and areas for improvement
- Attending monthly team leader meetings
