Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our successful Major Projects division. As part of our commercial team, you'll play a key role in our major projects portfolio empowering decision‑making, providing expert advice, managing all commercial activities and overseeing the change control process. This is a permanent, full‑time position based at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Responsibilities:
- Performing risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract.
- Leading and driving the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub‑contractors.
- Maintaining awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to.
- Monitoring and reporting forecast against cost and value and the management of cash flow.
- Overseeing and managing the commercial team on your contracts and supporting their development.
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor with previous experience working in the construction, civil engineering or highways industry. You will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and you will have excellent knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts. A CSCS card is essential for this role.
