FM Conway is recruiting for an experienced HGV Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop division based at our Heathrow depot. You will work in our busy Heathrow workshop on a wide range of commercial vehicles, maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV transport to a high standard. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV vehicles
- Completing paperwork following any maintenance activities
- Working as part of a team or remotely and adapting your skills to other areas when required
- Working safely in compliance with risk assessments and method statements and being willing to challenge any unsafe practices
Requirements
- Experience in commercial vehicles and electrical systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Full UK driving licence
- City and Guilds 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent NVQ in standard motor mechanics
- Knowledge of cranes, white lining equipment and hydraulic systems is desirable
