My client based on the outskirts of Norwich is looking for an organised and proactive Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a small to medium-sized team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including goods-in, picking, packing, dispatch and stock control
  • Lead, motivate and support warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality targets
  • Ensure health & safety standards and company procedures are followed at all times
  • Manage stock accuracy, cycle counts and inventory systems
  • Coordinate with logistics, transport and office teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Train and onboard new team members
  • Handle performance management, scheduling and shift planning
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory / team leader role
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and stock control processes
  • Good communication and problem-solving ability
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
