We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrician to work on a social housing contract, carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across occupied and void properties. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work, working on behalf of a well-established contractor within the social housing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out EICR testing and inspections in social housing properties
- Completing electrical testing, fault finding, and minor remedial works
- Accurately completing certification and reports using handheld devices
- Working in occupied homes with a professional and customer-focused approach
- Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 (18th Edition) regulations
- Liaising with tenants, supervisors, and office staff as required
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- 2391 / 2394 & 2395 or equivalent inspection & testing qualification
- EICR experience (essential)
- NICEIC / NAPIT registered (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working in social housing / domestic properties
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
