We are looking for an experienced Traffic Marshall to join a residential construction project in Cambridge, starting immediately. This is a great opportunity to work with a reputable residential builder on an active site.
The Role: You will manage on-site traffic, ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and pedestrians around the site. Your role is crucial for maintaining safety and compliance on a busy residential construction project.
Responsibilities:
- Directing site traffic safely, including vehicles, plant, and pedestrians
- Managing site access points and maintaining traffic flow
- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and signage
- Reporting any incidents or near-misses to the Site Manager
- Assisting with deliveries and coordination of site vehicles as required
Requirements:
- Valid NPORS or CPCS tickets for traffic management or plant movement
- CSCS card (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of site H&S procedures
- Good communication and team-working skills
- Previous experience on residential construction sites preferred
