We are Arc Legal and we’re a specialist provider of ancillary insurance products. Part of the global ANV group, we have more than 20 years of experience and as experts in our field, we are obsessed with delivering high quality ‘bespoke’ products and excellent customer service.
We're currently looking for an Audit Officer to join our Business Control & Governance Team based out of our Colchester office on a hybrid basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, investigating information and producing accurate, detailed reports. You'll support the Audit Team Manager in delivering a programme of internal and external audits, helping to ensure that our business, suppliers and solicitor partners continue to meet the high standards expected at Arc Legal.
You'll be joining a well-established and supportive team where collaboration is key. No two days are quite the same, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable managing changing priorities, switching between different audits and working on a variety of projects throughout the year.
In this role, you'll:
- Complete audits in line with the annual audit schedule.
- Produce detailed audit reports, recommendations and action plans.
- Liaise with suppliers, solicitors and internal stakeholders regarding audit findings and ongoing actions.
- Analyse information and identify trends, risks and areas for improvement.
- Support the preparation of audit-related meetings and reporting.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of future audit schedules.
- Support the ongoing management of risk and governance controls across the business.
Previous audit experience would be beneficial, but it's not essential. We're open to candidates from a variety of office-based environments who can demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and confidence working with data. Experience within insurance or a regulated environment would be advantageous but is not required.
To express your interest, send us your CV and we'll be in touch.
