We’re hiring a hands-on Platform Engineer to join a growing team, working directly with the Head of Platforms to build and scale a modern AWS environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning infrastructure, solving real engineering problems, and working across the full platform lifecycle in a lean, high-impact environment.

The role includes:

  • Building and operating AWS infrastructure
  • Leading cloud migrations and platform improvements
  • Writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or OpenTofu)
  • Improving monitoring & observability (Datadog)
  • Developing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, CircleCI)
  • Supporting engineers with deployments and new services

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong Platform Engineering experience
  • Deep AWS knowledge
  • Infrastructure as Code expertise
  • Python scripting skills
  • CI/CD experience (GitHub, CircleCI)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment

Nice to have:

  • Background in backend/software engineering
  • Experience in scaling organisations

Location: Remote (UK-based, quarterly meetups)
