Trade Floor Support Associate required to join vibrant quant trading platform of international bank. We are looking for an Excel expert with a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for high-pressure, fast-paced environments. This role will suit you if you thrive on solving complex issues and supporting dynamic trading operations.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless trading operations by providing technical support to traders, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining critical systems., * Provide hands-on support for Excel-based workflows, troubleshooting issues, managing add-ins, and handling quant library installations.

  • Trace and resolve complex Excel formula issues and workflows to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Work with real-time data feeds, including market data, Bloomberg (BBG), Risk/Pvs, and Trade Blotter systems.

  • Collaborate with traders to understand their challenges, identify solutions, and communicate progress clearly and effectively.

  • Liaise with IT teams to articulate and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.

  • Use your knowledge of financial instruments (Futures, Swaps, Cross-Currency Swaps, FX Forwards) to support trading operations.

  • Debug Python code, suggesting fixes and improvements as needed.

  • Maintain a calm, professional approach under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment

  • Previous experience in a similar trading environment.

  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas (nested formulas), data manipulation, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with managing Excel add-ins and quant library setups.

  • Exposure to real-time market data feeds and trading systems.

  • Solid understanding of financial markets and trading instruments.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with traders and IT teams effectively.

  • Basic Python programming skills, with the ability to debug and resolve issues.

  • A proactive mindset, able to work autonomously and prioritize effectively in high-pressure situations.
