We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join a busy fabrication and engineering environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-quality welding, fabrication, and assembly work across a range of materials, working to precise engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications
  • Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards and tolerances
  • Inspecting finished work for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment
  • Working effectively as part of a production/fabrication team

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven TIG welding experience (stainless steel/aluminium preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship standards
  • Good understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification in welding (desirable but not essential)
