SETTING OUT ENGINEER Location: Norfolk Rate: £350 - £420 per day Duration: Long-Term Contract Start: ASAP ARC are recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project based in Norfolk. Rate depends on with or without equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile civil engineering scheme, supporting the delivery of complex groundworks, earthworks, drainage and reinforced concrete packages. Responsibilities * Setting out for drainage, ducting, foundations, access roads and associated civil engineering works. * Carrying out site surveys and establishing control points. * Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built surveys. * Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications. * Liaising with site management, subcontractors and design teams. * Conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with project requirements. * Assisting with earthworks calculations, levels and volume measurements. * Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance on site. Requirements * Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on major civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, highways, energy or substation projects. * Competent using surveying equipment. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Experience producing as-built surveys and site records. * Strong understanding of drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete and groundworks packages. * CSCS Card. * Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable * Experience working on National Grid, energy or substation projects. * SMSTS or SSSTS. * First Aid at Work. * AutoCAD experience.
