Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for work? ARC are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with Bromsgrove and Redditch Council on a contract basis initially. As the Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in the development of appropriate contract documentation, procurement of goods, services and works contracts across Housing Property Services. With the delivery of these contracts the post holder is responsible for the financial measurement and valuation of works, preparing interim payments and final accounts together with all necessary project related financial reports.
For this position, you must have the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in the Construction Industry, covering pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in budget management (revenue, capital, and external funding sources).
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
This is contract work for 6 months initially but could be extended.
