Senior Test Automation Engineer is required by our high growth HealthTech client. This is a new role where you will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of their iOT platform, from dashboards and mobile apps, through to the development and implementation of automated test frameworks and strategies.

The Role:

  • Design and Develop Automated Tests: Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts, test plans, and test frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage that keeps up with the evolving needs of the product.
  • Execute and Analyse Manual Tests: Conduct manual tests, analyse results, and prioritise manual tests for automation to give the best return on investment.
  • Test Documentation: Document test procedures, test cases, and test results, and maintain evidence of testing activities. Performance Testing, Security Testing.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with its primary focus being automated testing.
  • Full software development life cycle (SDLC) experience from successful projects using agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably TypeScript or Python.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium), cross-browser testing strategies, and in testing web and mobile apps.
  • ISTQB or other relevant software testing certification desirable.
