We're partnering with a leading financial services client to hire a Solution Architect into their London-based Architecture practice within Group IT.
You will curate solution architecture designs across all lines of business, provide hands-on consultancy to project teams delivering cloud, on-premises and hybrid solutions, and act as a trusted technical partner to business relationship managers, product owners and delivery teams throughout the product life cycle.
- Provide solution architecture consultancy to project teams across cloud, on-premises and hybrid delivery
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security, regulatory and risk requirements
- Contribute to a shared community of practice, sharing reusable solutions and lessons learned
5+ years' experience across at least two IT solution disciplines - technical/infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, Middleware, database management or cloud development
- Strong Back End skills in one or more of C#, Java, Python, Go or Rust
- Working knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB or Oracle
- Broad, hands-on exposure to cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments
- Understanding of SDLC, deployment pipelines and modern engineering/DevOps practices
- Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
