Senior Azure Engineer (.NET/Integration)
London, hybrid (min 2 days in office)
Permanent | Up to £90,000 plus benefits
A global financial services group is hiring a Senior Azure Engineer into its in-house technology team in London. You'll be the team's Azure and Microsoft specialist. You'll design and build integration solutions hands-on, and act as the technical expert alongside architects, product owners and delivery partners.
It's a hands-on engineering role, not a management one. There's real room to grow into technical leadership as the team develops.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and building solutions on Azure with .NET/C#, APIs and microservices
- Delivering integrations with Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid and API Management
- Improving CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code through Azure DevOps
- Troubleshooting production issues and fixing root causes properly
- Working on new build and AI work, including Copilot and Power Platform
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years as a senior engineer, with extensive hands-on Azure experience
- Strong .NET/C# and API-based architecture skills
- Real integration delivery experience: you've built it, shipped it and supported it in production
- Solid understanding of Azure security, including Azure AD/Entra ID
- An interest in Microsoft AI tooling and the drive to keep learning
Nice to have
- Power Platform experience. If you haven't used it yet, that's fine: strong Azure developers pick it up quickly, and you'll get the chance to do so here
- Insurance or financial services background
- Azure certifications
