A leading, highly prestigious financial services organisation is seeking a Power Platform Analyst to join its in-house Power Platform team. This is an analyst-focused role, not a development position: you'll work alongside the development team on requirements, solution design and business support, with genuine hands-on Power Platform and D365 knowledge as your technical foundation.

Reporting to the Platform Lead, you'll sit at the interface between the business and the developers, helping translate day-to-day needs into clear, actionable requirements while supporting a mature Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 estate.

The role includes:

  • Picking up and supporting development items from the backlog, working closely with the development team rather than owning end-to-end build.
  • Elaborating business requirements for Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas), Power Automate and D365 solutions.
  • Providing day-to-day support and coordination for business users, triaging issues and helping them understand root causes.
  • Contributing to solution design in line with security, integration and governance standards.
  • Acting as a technical point of contact within the Power Platform/D365 change portfolio.
  • Producing clear technical and support documentation.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business to turn loosely defined needs into practical solutions.

Experience & background:

  • 3 to 5 years' hands-on experience with Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
  • Comfortable working independently at an individual contributor level.
  • Experience within financial services or another regulated environment is helpful but by no means essential.
  • A natural fit for someone who enjoys the requirements and business analytical and business-facing side of Power Platform work, not just the build.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on, and confident supporting a live, mature estate.
