Application Manager / IT Business Partner – CRM | Banking
London (Hybrid) | 6-month contract Inside IR35
CRM / Application Manager is sought by a prestigious, globally recognised investment to take ownership of their business application estate - spanning CRM systems, SaaS platforms, and on-premise solutions - and lead technology delivery across a high-profile division. This is a role for someone who knows their way around a complex application landscape, can manage vendors and budgets with confidence, and has the credibility to operate as a trusted IT partner to senior business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Ownership: Own the full lifecycle of major business applications - CRM systems, SaaS and on-premise, from implementation and upgrades through to decommission. Manage vendor SLAs, contracts and application support structures. Manage a rolling portfolio of technology change, acting as both IT Project Manager and Business Analyst. Translate business requirements into solutions that align to architecture and security policy.
- Stakeholder Management: Be the senior IT partner to the business - owning the relationship, chairing portfolio reviews and acting as the escalation point for issues that can't be resolved through standard channels.
- People & Governance: Lead a team of IT Business Analysts. Own the divisional IT budget and ensure governance, CMDB accuracy and compliance are maintained across the portfolio.
Key Requirements:
- Proven application management and IT business partner experience or similar in banking.
- Strong CRM platform experience within a financial services or investment banking environment.
- Full application lifecycle management - vendor governance, SLAs, patching, upgrades.
- Project management and business analysis skills (Prince2, PMP or equivalent a plus).
- Confident managing senior stakeholders and complex vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with CMDB, IT governance and budget management.
