We're currently recruiting for a Part-Time Route Planner to join a fast-paced and growing operation based in Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a background in logistics or planning who is looking for a stable, part-time role with real impact. This position plays a key role in ensuring daily delivery operations run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
The Role:
- Planning and optimising daily delivery routes
- Analysing driver data to improve performance and reduce costs
- Working closely with drivers and warehouse teams
- Managing returns and vehicle readiness for next-day operations
- Debriefing drivers and identifying areas for improvement
- Supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a planning, logistics, or analytical role
- Strong Excel and IT systems skills
- Previous route planning experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others
- Calm under pressure with strong organisational ability
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 12:00 – 17:30
- Friday: 12:00 – 16:00
