We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established social housing contractor delivering refurbishment and planned maintenance works across residential housing contracts. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social housing refurbishment and maintenance contracts
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme and budget
- Monitor health & safety compliance across all sites
- Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal management teams
- Produce progress reports and attend client meetings
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Manage RAMS, site audits, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within social housing
- Strong knowledge of planned works and refurbishment projects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- SMSTS certification essential
