A prestigious city-based financial services company is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead a high-profile Client Software Onboarding Transformation programme. This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading firm spearheading the redesign of their global onboarding operating model, running a full vendor selection process, and overseeing implementation of a new onboarding technology platform.

The Role

You'll sit at the intersection of business transformation, regulatory onboarding, process excellence, and technology delivery - working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions to harmonise onboarding practices, strengthen governance, and enable future automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a global software/client onboarding transformation programme, including project plans, governance, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
  • Analyse current-state onboarding processes across global jurisdictions and design a future-state Target Operating Model.
  • Lead workshops to define business requirements and drive business process re-engineering.
  • Own the end-to-end RFP/RFI process for onboarding software vendors - from evaluation criteria and scoring through to vendor negotiation and business case sign-off.
  • Manage implementation of the selected onboarding platform from requirements through to go-live, partnering with Technology, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Information Security.
  • Build and influence relationships with senior leaders (Exec/MD/COO level) across a complex, multi-jurisdictional stakeholder landscape.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years' experience in Business Analysis, Business Transformation and ideally some project management experience.
  • A strong track record delivering large-scale operational transformation programmes.
  • Significant experience in financial services.
  • Experience within client onboarding, KYC, AML, Customer Due Diligence, or Client Lifecycle Management.
  • Proven experience designing Target Operating Models and leading process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience running formal RFP/RFI and vendor selection processes.
  • Experience implementing enterprise software solutions end-to-end.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Ability to work closely with the business at all levels.
