A major enterprise-level organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Technical Delivery to lead a complex portfolio of transformation programmes across cloud, infrastructure, data, networking and enterprise systems. This is a senior leadership role responsible for turning strategy into delivery, leading multiple programmes, managing delivery teams, and ensuring successful outcomes across a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a large portfolio of digital change programmes
- Build and maintain delivery roadmaps aligned to business priorities
- Manage Programme Managers, delivery teams and third-party suppliers
- Oversee budgets, governance, risks and performance reporting
- Drive cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades and legacy replacement initiatives
- Engage executive stakeholders and provide strategic leadership
- Ensure programmes deliver to time, cost and quality targets
Skills needed
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale technology change
- Experience across cloud, infrastructure, systems or data programmes
- Strong stakeholder management up to executive level
- Experience leading teams and outsourced partners
- Comfortable managing pace, ambiguity and competing priorities
- Regulated sector experience
- MSP, PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile qualifications
- Experience managing budgets of £5m
