You will lead the development of scalable, secure platforms on Microsoft Azure, working closely with global technology teams, actuaries, and business stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role combining solution design, coding, mentoring, and technical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design and development of cloud-native solutions for digital underwriting use cases
- Build and maintain high-quality applications using TypeScript
- Design and manage solutions on Azure, including App Services, Functions, and containers (AKS)
- Use Databricks to support data modelling, analytics, and actuarial insights
- Set up and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical design sessions
- Apply cloud security best practices within a regulated insurance environment
- Strong commercial software development experience with technical leadership responsibility
