We’re looking for a Perway Welder Offsider to join our team based in Picton. As the Perway Welder Offsider you will be responsible for assisting the Perway Welder with welding of the track and completing inspections of specific components/defects as directed.
Location: Picton.
Responsibilities
- Providing safe working protection for the Perway Welding activities
- Assisting the Perway Welder as required
- Learning to perform permanent way welding of the track and inspections of specific components/defects
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in perway welding (desirable)
- Be able to pass a Cat 1 Rail Medical
- Protection Officer (PO) Level of safeworking (experience desirable, but not essential as Arc will provide training)
- Current WA MR/CN driver's licence
- Sound planning and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
