We are recruiting for experienced Retail Chefs to work at one of the city’s leading football stadiums, to work on match days all season. The site has a variety of retail units. From burgers, pizza, hot dogs etc.

You will work as part of a brigade of retail staff to achieve a successful service. Overseeing the operation, making sure food temperatures are recorded, food wastage etc. Keeping on top of parr levels and making sure that food is cooked and staff in the unit all know how to operate accordingly.

Experience in a similar role is essential. having worked in a retail kiosk doesn\’t mean you have the experience. You WILL need to have experience cooking large batches of food, reading patterns of the crowd so you know when to get food ready ahead of crowds to ensure queues move quickly, while not cooking to much to avoid wastage is kept low and quality is kept high.

Pay ranges from £14 – £18 per hour

This is dependent on / role / Client / Experience

You also have the choice of working with us at other venues/events and freedom to choose your shifts.

Requirements for the role

  • Valid Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergens certificates – we can provide if needed.
  • You will preferably have an NVQ Level 1,2,3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) OR relevant experience in the role.

  • Eligible to work in the UK

Responsibilities and Duties

· Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.

· Maintaining kitchen cleanliness to the highest standard

· Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation

· Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.

· Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance

· Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance

· Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.
