We are working with some of the North East’s most respected restaurants, boutique hotels, and luxury destinations, and we’re looking for exceptional relief chefs who can step in with confidence, professionalism, and skill.

Wages - £16.00ph - £18.00ph + holiday pay (Depending on experience)

While working with us you will have the chance to work in different sites like hotels, stadiums, events, racecourses, canteens etc. This is why you need to be confident in your skills & able to adapt to new environments. Experience in large scale banqueting is preferable, but if you have a minimum of 3 years chef experience in fast paced environments, feel free to get in touch as hard working, skilled chefs with great attitudes are always welcome. This is a great opportunity to develop your career, you will meet and work alongside industry leaders as you make your way around the venues/events that we work with.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
  • Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
  • Cleaning the kitchen & its equipment
  • Due diligence, Record food/fridge temps & wastage
  • Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
  • Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
  • Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
  • Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.

What you need?

  • Food Safety Level 2 certificate - From last 3 years
  • Food Allergen certificate - From last 3 years
  • Health & Safety Level 2 - From last 3 years
  • You will have an NVQ Level 2/3 Professional Cookery or relevant experience in the role.
  • Good Knowledge of food and passion for delivering high quality, affordable, on-the-go and sit-down meals.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
