Matchday Chef – Manchester
Location: Manchester and surrounding areas
Pay Ranges: £16-£20 p/h (role & experience dependent)

Roles: Experienced Chefs
We are recruiting for experienced chefs to work at the city’s leading football stadiums, to work on match days all season. The site has a variety of kitchens from fine dining banqueting to buffets for 500+ people. You will work as part of a brigade of chefs to achieve a successful service for your lead chef, working on a section and helping out where needed. Experience in large scale banqueting is preferable, but if you have a minimum of 2 years chef experience in fast paced environments, feel free to get in touch as hard working, skilled chefs with great attitudes are always welcome. You also have the choice of working with us at other venues/events and freedom to choose your shifts. This is a great opportunity to develop your career, You will meet and work alongside industry leaders as you make your way around the venues/events that we work with.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
- Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
- Cleaning the kitchen & it’s equipment
- Due diligence, Record food/fridge temps & wastage
- Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
- Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
- Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
- Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.

What you need?
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate – From last 3 years
- Food Allergen certificate – From last 3 years
- Health & Safety Level 2 – From last 3 years
- You will have an NVQ Level 2/3 Professional Cookery or relevant experience in the role.
- Good Knowledge of food and passion for delivering high quality, affordable, on-the-go and sit-down meals.
- Eligible to work in the UK
- An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
