We are recruiting experienced chefs to work at one of the city’s leading football stadiums, on match days throughout the season. The site features a variety of kitchens, from fine dining banqueting to buffets for large groups.

You will work as part of a chef brigade to ensure successful service under the guidance of your lead chef, primarily working on A section and assisting where needed.

Experience in large-scale banqueting is preferable, but candidates with a minimum of 3 years of chef experience in fast-paced environments are encouraged to apply. Hardworking, skilled chefs with a positive attitude are always welcome.

The role offers a pay rate of £17.80 per hour plus holiday pay, totaling approximately £20 per hour.

You will have the flexibility to work at other venues and events, choosing your shifts according to your availability.

Requirements for the role

• Valid Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergens certificates – these can be provided if needed.
• Preferably an NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
• Team player attitude.
• Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cooking according to specifications and contributing to menu creation.
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness.
• Product delivery, maintaining standards, and innovating.
• Communicating effectively with front-of-house staff and management.
• Stock control, waste management, and financial duties.
• Adhering to health & safety, food hygiene, and maintenance standards.
• Complying with legislation such as COSHH at all times.
