Arc is looking for a specialist Chef Recruitment Consultant to join our Manchester team. This role is all about recruiting chefs and kitchen support staff, running your desk, and growing our business across Manchester and the surrounding regions.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Ex-chefs or Recruitment Experts: You don’t need to have been a chef, but if you have Back of House experience, even better.
- High Street Recruitment Experience: Have you run a desk before? Proven success growing a desk and expanding a client base? This is your chance to scale.
- Staffing Expertise: Knowledge of casual/agency staff, managing timesheets, scheduling, and running check-ins would be an advantage.
- Regional Knowledge: Experience recruiting chefs and staffing in Manchester is a bonus.
We seek demonstrable experience and success in recruiting chefs or similar roles. You will be confident, organised, and able to work independently while also supporting the wider operational needs of the team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Recruit and staff kitchens across Manchester.
- Run your own chef desk, grow it, and expand our business.
- Conduct chef check-ins and manage timesheets.
- Build and maintain relationships with chefs, clients, and your accounts.
- Be called upon to support the Manchester Hub operations as and when required.
- Attend events for on-site team support, giving your week variety beyond the office.
Typical working week: Around 40 hours p/w (5 days out of 7), mostly office-based, with off-site visits for client check-ins and events.
