Following an exciting transformation within our business, we're expanding our Healthcare Division across Scotland and building a team of the region's very best PVG chefs.
We're looking for talented, reliable chefs with an PVG Certificate registered on the Update Service to support a range of healthcare clients, including hospitals, care homes and specialist care settings.
If you do not currently hold a PVG on the Update Service, we still welcome your application.
A satisfactory PVG check will be required before commencing work in applicable assignments.
Where a new PVG application is required, the cost of the check will be met by the worker and may be recovered through payroll by agreement and in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Wages - £16.00ph - £27.00ph + holiday pay (Depends on experience)

Responsibilities and Duties
- Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
- Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
- Cleaning the kitchen & it’s equipment
- Due diligence, Record food/fridge temps & wastage
- Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
- Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
- Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
- Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.

What you need?
- Current PVG on the update service, or willing to be put through one.
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate - From last 3 years
- Food Allergen certificate - From last 3 years
- Health & Safety Level 2 - From last 3 years
- You will have an NVQ Level 2/3 Professional Cookery or relevant experience in the role.
- Good Knowledge of food and passion for delivering high quality, affordable, on-the-go and sit-down meals.
- Eligible to work in the UK
- An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
