About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established contractor specialising in social housing, for an experienced and reliable Storeman to take full responsibility for running their stores operation in Wisbech. This is a key role within the business, ensuring materials and equipment are effectively managed, organised, and distributed to support ongoing maintenance and refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the stores
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and replenishment of materials
- Receive, check, and organise deliveries
- Issue materials and equipment to operatives as required
- Maintain accurate stock records and documentation
- Ensure the stores area is kept clean, safe, and well organised
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
