My client based to the North of Cambridge has a permanent requirement for a Warehouse Supervisor. You will be overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and leading a small team of warehouse operatives to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
- Implement and enforce warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Counterbalance Forklift certification preferred but not essential.
