We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Roofer to join a close-knit and growing roofing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a roofer with some experience who is looking to develop their skills, learn new techniques and build a long-term career with a supportive company.

The ideal candidate will have a good grounding in roofing, plenty of common sense and a strong work ethic. You’ll be expected to work well as part of a team, get stuck in and support colleagues when your own work is completed.

The Role

  • Carrying out roofing works across a variety of projects
  • Working on both flat and pitched roofs
  • Mainly residential projects, with some commercial, new-build and refurbishment work
  • Working across North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex
  • Travelling to sites within approximately a 50-mile radius of Ware
  • Working as part of a close-knit and supportive team
  • Assisting colleagues and getting involved with other tasks when required
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety and professionalism

About You

  • Has some previous roofing experience
  • Has practical roofing skills and a willingness to learn
  • Is keen to develop and progress within the company
  • Has excellent common sense and a good work ethic
  • Is reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Is happy to help colleagues when required
  • Takes pride in their work
  • Has a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in

Formal qualifications are not necessarily essential — the right attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are key.
