Our client, a fast-paced and expanding logistics business based in Felixstowe, is looking to recruit a Transport Administrator to join their busy Commercial Planning Team. The Role
Working within the Commercial Planning Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of transport operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate information across internal systems while communicating with drivers, customers and colleagues to keep operations running efficiently. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, is highly organised and can confidently prioritise changing workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and maintain transport and planning data.
- Liaise with drivers regarding collections, deliveries and operational updates.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments.
- Ensure transport documentation and system information is accurate and up to date.
- Support the Commercial Planning Team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to operational requirements and customer requests.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
