ARC are recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project based in Norfolk. Rate depends on with or without equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile civil engineering scheme, supporting the delivery of complex groundworks, earthworks, drainage and reinforced concrete packages.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out for drainage, ducting, foundations, access roads and associated civil engineering works.
- Carrying out site surveys and establishing control points.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built surveys.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications.
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and design teams.
- Conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Assisting with earthworks calculations, levels and volume measurements.
- Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on major civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, highways, energy or substation projects.
- Competent using surveying equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience producing as-built surveys and site records.
- Strong understanding of drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete and groundworks packages.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
- Experience working on National Grid, energy or substation projects.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- First Aid at Work.
- AutoCAD experience.
