We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Civils and Groundworks subcontractor delivering works on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects at Sizewell. We are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join the site team, supporting the accurate delivery of major civils and groundworks packages. The Role
As a Setting Out Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all works are set out accurately and completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications and programme requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out setting out for civils and groundworks works using modern surveying equipment.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring works are delivered accurately.
- Establishing and maintaining site control points and survey data.
- Checking levels, line and dimensions throughout construction activities.
- Supporting Site Managers.
