We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Civils and Groundworks subcontractor delivering works on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects at Sizewell. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager.
You will work closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance, driving behavioural safety and embedding a positive health and safety culture throughout the business. The Role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for supporting site teams and senior management in delivering safe, compliant and efficient operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and promoting a proactive health and safety culture across the project.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to site management, supervisors and operatives.
- Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance checks.
- Investigating incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Producing reports and monitoring health and safety performance.
