Senior Care Assistant Permanent Location: Norwich and surrounding areas Days and hours of work: Varies (day and night shifts available) Start Date: ASAP Salary/ Hourly rate:DOE We are recruiting for dedicated and committed Senior Care Assistants for a couple of clients based in and around Norwich on a permenant basis working with older residents with learning disabilities Duties: • Assisting residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing and grooming. • Communicating effectively with residents, their families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. • Supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as required. • Maintaining accurate records of residents progress and any change to their condition • Drive residents to appointments and outings as required • Fostering a warm welcoming atmosphere within the home • Participating in training and career development in senior care Requirements: • Previous experience in senior care or a similar care setting is essential • Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken with residents, colleagues and families • A valid UK drivers licence is essential • Leadership qualities and experience supervising and mentoring staff Benefits: • company pension scheme • overtime available Please contact our Healthcare Recruitment specialists
