Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced General Manager to take ownership of a busy operational site in Purfleet. The Opportunity
As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of a large-scale transport operation. Leading multiple teams across transport, fleet, planning and operational functions, you will ensure that service levels remain exceptional while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and profitability. You will work closely with senior leadership to deliver operational improvements, develop strategic initiatives and support the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities

About You

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of transport legislation, compliance and health & safety requirements.
- Experience managing customer relationships within a service-driven environment.

- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience within container logistics, port-centric operations or large fleet environments would be highly advantageous.
