Night Parcel Sorter – Norwich Position: Night Parcel Sorter Location: Norwich Pay Rate: £13.73 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 23:00 – 08:00 (Monday night to Saturday morning) Contract Type: Ongoing Work Start Date: Immediate / As Soon As Possible About the Role We are currently recruiting for dedicated Night Parcel Sorters to join a busy distribution depot based in Norwich. This is an ongoing, stable opportunity for reliable individuals looking for consistent night-shift hours. As a Night Parcel Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring parcels and packages are sorted accurately and dispatched efficiently for delivery. Key Responsibilities Unloading incoming vehicles and loading outgoing delivery vans. Sorting parcels accurately by postcode and destination using hand scanners. Moving stock safely around the warehouse. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Manual handling and heavy lifting of various parcels and packages. Shift Pattern Days: Monday night through to Saturday morning (5 nights per week) Hours: 23:00 to 08:00 Requirements Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical work, including heavy lifting. Transport: Ideally, you will have your own transport (car, motorbike, or bicycle) due to shift times and site location in Norwich. Reliability: Excellent punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential. Availability: Must be available for an immediate start. Key Benefits Competitive pay rate of £13.73/hr (PAYE).
