Are you an Electrical Manager looking for work? Our client is a growing electrical contractor delivering a range of residential refurbishment, new-build and solar installation projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee the day-to-day running and delivery of their electrical works.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrical professional looking to take the next step into a management position, with genuine responsibility for the successful delivery of projects.
The Role
As Electrical Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of electrical projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of electrical projects
- Managing electricians, subcontractors and site activities
- Coordinating labour, materials and project requirements
- Carrying out regular site visits and monitoring progress
- Liaising with clients, contractors and other trades
- Ensuring projects remain on programme and within agreed requirements
- Dealing with any issues or challenges that arise during projects
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- Managing multiple projects across residential refurbishment, new-build and solar installations
- Providing project updates and communicating progress to senior management
- Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical works
About You
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and previous experience in a supervisory, management or project management position. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience within the electrical industry
- Previous experience managing electrical projects and/or teams
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical works
- Experience within refurbishment and/or new-build projects
- Solar installation experience would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills
- The confidence to take ownership and make decisions
