Rate of pay: £32,000 per annum + bonus

As a Transport Planner you will manage third-party logistics providers to ensure products are delivered on time, to the right location, and within agreed cost and quality standards, supporting business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with 3PLs and hauliers to achieve optimal service levels
  • Plan and manage weekly transport requirements, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery
  • Monitor truck utilisation, KPIs, and supplier performance, driving continuous improvement
  • Identify and resolve logistics issues, proactively communicating delays, risks, and disruptions
  • Provide clear reporting and insights to support supply chain and management decision-making
  • Maintain accurate logistics data, pricing, and documentation to support import clearance and compliance
  • Build knowledge of UK transport routes and relevant import regulations
