Location: Norwich, Norfolk (UEA)

Rate: 250 - 280 per day

ARC are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Foreman / Working Foreman to join a busy civils project based in Norwich. Our client is looking for a hands-on Groundworks Foreman who remains actively involved in the works on site but can also supervise the team, coordinate daily activities and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently. This role would suit an experienced Groundworker who has stepped up into a Foreman position and holds either SSSTS or SMSTS.

Duties will include:

  • Supervising and working alongside a groundworks gang
  • Carrying out general groundworks duties when required
  • Organising daily activities and allocating labour
  • Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme
  • Reading and working from drawings
  • Checking quality of works and reporting progress
  • Delivering toolbox talks and maintaining site standards
  • Liaising with Site Management and reporting any issues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman / Working Foreman
  • Strong background in civils and groundworks
  • Must hold SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety
