We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a growing and well-established business operating throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas. Service & Maintenance Engineer Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
  • Attending reactive maintenance call-outs
  • Servicing pumps, motors, valves and associated plant equipment
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting across a range of mechanical systems
  • Ensuring all maintenance records and reports are completed accurately
  • Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure works are completed efficiently
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Service & Maintenance Engineer Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Service & Maintenance Engineer role
  • Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
  • Experience working within commercial, industrial or building services environments
  • Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge
  • Experience with pumps, HVAC systems, motors and associated plant equipment

Service & Maintenance Engineer Package

  • Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
