Overview
We are on a hunt for an experienced HGV 1 driver to start immediately for one of our well know clients based in Woolpit, Suffolk.
Shifts
DAYS OR TRAMPING
Term
LONG TERM WORK & TEMP TO PERM FOR THE RIGHT DRIVERS.
Pay
PAYE PAYMENT ONLY
PAYE RATES: £15.03phr-£16.84phr
NIGHT OUT: £26.20 per night out
Minimum 10hrs paid each shift
Assessment
Each driver must complete and pass an assessment before starting this role, which will result in long term work.The majority of these are held on a Saturday morning. The assessment will last approximately 90-120 minutes. We do NOT pay for the time on these assessments. However if the driver passes, they will need to be inducted at the start of their first shift, and that time is obviously chargeable at the normal hourly shift rate.
Requirements for the role
- Experience - minimum of 2 Years HGV 1 container driver experience.
- Qualifications and UK Licences - Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tachograph Card;
- Safely operate HGV 1 vehicles on scheduled routes;
- Intermediate understanding and speaking English;
- Complete vehicle checks and report any defects;
- Maintain high levels of customer service;
- To have all port cards preferred;
